Households that utilize oil for their central heating should have a stock of oil now because oil prices are bound to increase soon, according to a warning issued by an official watchdog. Consumer Focus has announced to the public that leaving out orders for oil for central heating purposes to the very final minute before winter begins may cause some challenges to the consumers. They will experience longer deliver times as well as increased prices which may be a big expense to a lot of people. According to the watchdog, “In the severe weather experienced in November and December 2010 many of the oil distribution companies saw significant increases in orders, resulting in delivery backlogs, particularly in remote and rural areas where roads were disrupted by snow and ice.”
